Newcastle have contacted the agent of Fiorentina striker Moise Kean over a possible summer move to replace in-demand striker Alexander Isak.

Isak has become one of the world’s most prolific scorers during his time at the Magpies. The 25-year-old has scored 19 Premier League goals this season and has netted 50 goals in 77 games in the top flight.

Newcastle are keen to keep hold of the player, but Isak is a target for the Champions League side. And the Magpies could be forced to sell if they receive a bid in the region of £100million.
While there is no guarantee that Isak will leave Newcastle this summer, the club have a plan in place.
Preliminary talks have taken place between Newcastle and Moise Kean’s agent over a possible summer move. The former Everton striker joined Fiorentina last year. And he has been in excellent form, scoring 15 goals in 26 Serie A games. Including four in seven UEFA Conference League games.
The 25-year-old is also capped for the Italian national team and scored twice in a 3-3 draw with Germany in the latest international break.
This is the best season of Keane’s career and. With this form, Newcastle see him as the ideal replacement for Isak. Selling the Swedish player and signing the Italian would be a huge profit for the Magpies. As Keane has a release clause of just €52 million (£43.4m), which will come into effect this summer.
Newcastle still have to reach an agreement with Keane for the deal, but the club know the fee they can pay, with the release clause reportedly set to run from July 1-15.
