Florentino Perez confirms support for FIFA Club World Cup after La Liga president Javier Tebas looks to sabotage the tournament

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed his support for the FIFA Club World Cup after La Liga president Javier Tebas wanted to destroy the tournament to preserve football’s sustainability, DAZN reported on Thursday.

There is no more money in the world of audio and video rights. What we have to do is to preserve it and eliminate it.’

‘We have to maintain the sustainability of football. I didn’t watch it. Yesterday I watched a little bit of Chelsea and it looked like a summer friendly. I didn’t feel the intensity in the 25 minutes I watched the game.’

Before Florentino, the president of the Los Blancos, responded and gave his full support to the tournament.
